Chrysin - Chrysin belongs to the flavone class of flavonoids. Chrysin is found naturally in various plants but our Chrysin is principally obtained from the plant Passiflora Coerulea.

Laboratory tests have proven that Chrysin activates the enzyme Uridine Diphosphate-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT1A1) and helps to eliminate bilirubin and biliverdin accummulated in the dermis and epidermis. Bilirubin and biliverdin is what you see under the skin below your eyes, also known as “ dark circles”.

Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3 - These are two cutaneous tissue-restructuring peptides present in Milexin MD. These peptides are a reaction product of Palmitic Acid. These are synthetic peptides containing Glycine, Glutamine, Proline and Arginine. They are classed as a protein and are used to increase firmness in the capillaries, which prevents them from rupturing and leaking hemoglobin into the dermis and epidermis.

Centella Asiatica - This plant grows widely in tropical swampy areas, including parts of India, Pakistan, and South Africa. The roots and the leaves are used to help with problems dealing with poor blood circulation like dark eye circles and varicose veins. The active chemicals are terpenoids including asiatic acid, madecassic acid, and asiaticoside. Centella asiatica works by stimulating the production of type I collagen and by decreasing the inflammation of the capillaries, which improves blood flow by strenghtening the capillaries.

Vegetal Squalane - Our Squalane is made from the deodorization (the act of depriving odor) distillates obtained from the unsaponifiable fraction (the components of an oil that do not turn into fat) of olive oil. Because of its “light as water” consistency, it is absorbed quickly and deeply into the skin with no oily film.
